Short version of sailing history

Harry began racing at a young age on his father’s race boats in Auckland harbour, and got his first dingy at 15 when he began sailing in the 29er class. After 3 years of racing the 29er both in New Zealand and Australia Harry joined the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron’s Youth Training programme to learn the art of match racing and keel boat sailing. During his two years in the program before graduating he joined 36 below racing. He continues racing with 36 below racing, now ranked 7th in the world, with the goal of racing on the World Match Racing Tour in 2016.

Unique Quality

Youthful exuburance is important in any team, Harry brings this in abundance. Over the years soaking up the ‘right’ input from TVS crew, compeating in overseas and youth regattas Harry has developed into a dynamic and keen yachtsman. Often questioning the boat set up, he is the enforcer when it comes to foil adjustments.
